Hello everyone :)
In today's lesson we will continue to learn a new prepositions

Remember!
-The new lessons(Unit106/107/108) are going to be similar to each other so try to revise each lesson after you finish;)-

let's get started!

Step 1: Read the lesson

Step 2: Read the summary

We can use to as a preposition to indicate a destination or direction:

*We’re going to London on Sunday.*

We use in to talk about where something is in relation to a larger area around it:
*Piccadilly Circus is in London.*

We use at to describe a position or location seen as a point:
*The bus is at the airport.*

We use home to refer to where someone lives and we often use home with the preposition at:
*I’m staying at home tonight.Dan doesn’t work in an office.*
*He works at home.*

We use the verb arrive with at or in to talk about ‘coming to’, ‘getting to’ or ‘reaching’ a place where a journey ends.

If we see the destination as a point, we say arrive at:
*What time did you arrive at the hotel?* (not arrive to the hotel)

If we see it as a larger area, we say arrive in:
*They arrived in this country last week.* (not arrived to this country)

get to (a place):
To reach a particular stage, condition, or time:
*What time did you get to the hotel?*

get home / arrive home (no preposition)
We use home as an adverb with verbs such as get, go, come, arrive, we don't use "to":
*I was tired when I got home.* or *I was tired when I arrived home.*
