in / at / on (places 1)





Hello everybody! 
Today we are going to discuss about prepositions of place!

Remember!

IN:
1-inside or towards the inside of container place or area or surrounded or closed off by something.
➡'Is Mark still in bed?' 
➡'Put the milk back in the fridge when you're finished with it.' 

2-with spaces that you can physically walk into. 
➡In a room/in building
➡in a garden/in a park

3-with bodies of water.
➡in the water 
➡in the sea
➡in the river

4-with regions(cardinal points/continents)
➡in the North
➡in North America

ON:
We use on to show position on a horizontal or vertical surface.
➡look at all the books on your desk.
➡we were told not to walk on the grass.

2- public transport(trains/bus/plane)
➡I love traveling on trains.
➡'we are going to town on the bus, okay?'

AT: 
1-We use at to show a specific place,location or position. 
➡on the bus stop.
➡we'll meet you at the entrance.

2-We use 'at' with places on a page:
➡At the top of the page.
➡at the bottom of the page.

NOTE:
'At the end' means at the point when something stops. 
You can also say 'in the end' but the meaning will be different.
