from … to / until / since / for




Hello everyone :)
In today's lesson we are going to learn a new prepositions
So let's get started!


Step 1: Read the lesson 


Step 2: Read the summary:

From and To work together to indicate when the action begins and when it ends:
“I work from Monday to Friday.”

You can also say From ... until ... :
“We lived in Japan from 2003 until 2010.”

Until
Up to (the point in time or the event mentioned):
“They're going away tomorrow
They'll be away until Friday.”

You can also say till (= until):
“Wait here till I come back.”

________________________________

Since + a time in the past ( to now):
“Joe is in hospital. He has been
in hospital since Monday.”

________________________________

For + a period of time:
“Gary stayed with us for
three days.
